U18s in Premier Cup Action at Leiston - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s are in action against Leiston in the Suffolk Premier Cup at Victory Road this evening (KO 7.45pm). The Blues are entering a side in the competition for the first time since 2012/13.
Keeper Jacob Marsden (pictured) is expected to make his first appearance in 18 months after a serious knee injury, while defenders George Fowler and Luke Woolfenden, midfielders Flynn Downes and Ronaldo Jones and strikers Nick Ingram and Sam Ford are also set to be involved against the Ryman League Premier Division's second-placed side.
England U17 international Andre Dozzell suffered an ankle injury in the U21s on Monday and is expected to be out for a couple of weeks, while fellow midfielders James Blanchfield and Chris Smith are also currently sidelined.
