Former Blue Trotter Joins Forest in Time to Face Town - Ipswich Town News
Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of former Town midfielder Liam Trotter on a month’s loan from Bolton in time to be eligible for this afternoon’s game against the Blues at the City Ground.
Ipswich-born Trotter, 27, was an academy player with the Blues - he was in the 2005 Youth Cup-winning side - and made 18 starts ad eight sub appearances for Town before moving on to Millwall in 2010 following a loan spell.
Trotter’s only appearance for Bolton this season was as an 89th minute sub against Derby on the opening day.
