Former Town striker David Johnson has joined Burnley on a month's loan. He rejoins former manager Stan Ternent at Turfmoor.
Johnson joined Nottingham Foreat from Town for £3.5 million in January 2001. His spell there has not gone well and the cash-strapped clubare desperate to remove one of their top earners from the wage bill.
He only ended a successful loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday last week and the Owls were keen to take him for a longer period, but Forest refused.
Johnson was previously managed by Ternent at Bury, from where he joined Town in November 1997.
