Burley on Odd - Ipswich Town News
Town boss George Burley says the arrangement Town are planning to forge with Norwegian club Odd Grenland is just one of several informal link-ups they are involved in throughout Europe.
Burley said: "We have no tie-up with any one club. I prefer to have a good and close relationship with various clubs round Europe rather than be tied to one."
Town have also forged links with Swedes Giffarna Sundsvall and Dutch sie Heerenveen over the last couple of years.
According to Norwegian sources the two clubs were first put in contact with one another after a secondary school from Skien (the town where Odd Grenland are based) spent some time in Ipswich.
Odd say that today will see the first meeting between the clubs, with representatives from Town in Norway.
