Yorwerth and Stewart's Loan Clubs Win - Ipswich Town News

On-loan Blues Josh Yorwerth and Cameron Stewart helped their temporary clubs to victories this afternoon, while U21s coach Mark Kennedy was spotted taking in a League Two game.

Centre-half Yorwerth, who extended his spell with Crawley to the end of December earlier in the week, helped the Red Devils to a 1-0 home victory over York at lunchtime.

One-time Town loanee Simon Walton netted the winning goal from the penalty spot four minutes from time. The Sussex side have won four of their last five League Two games and are now up to 15th.

Winger Stewart, who has been a regular starter since Darren Ferguson took over as manager, helped Doncaster to a 2-0 victory over Colchester at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Central defender Matt Clarke was again an unused sub as Portsmouth lost 2-1 at Notts County, former Blues academy striker Caolan Lavery, who is on loan from Sheffield Wednesday, the scorer of the Pompey goal.

Meanwhile, Town U21s coach Mark Kennedy was spotted at Stevenage watching nine-man Boro lose 5-1 to Oxford United.
