Dyer to Give I'm a Celebrity Fee to Ipswich Charity - Ipswich Town News
Former Town midfielder Kieron Dyer will donate his entire fee from his appearance in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here to Ipswich-based charity The Jude Brady Foundation.
The Foundation, of which Dyer is a patron, aims to raise awareness of stillbirth and neonatal death as well as funds for child-related good causes. They recently staged the pro-celebrity match at Bury Town’s Ram Meadow, which raised almost £7,000.
Speaking on the ITV show’s website, Dyer said his family are big fans: "I’m A Celebrity… is a favourite in our house. I watch it with my children and they wanted me to do it. They begged me to go on!”
The 36-year-old former England international, a long-term sponsor of Town's academy, is sure he’ll keep everyone entertained: "I like to stir things up and I am a mickey-taker. I will amuse myself and have a banter with everyone.”
I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here starts on ITV on Sunday 15th November.
