Town's representatives meeting with Odd Grenland on Tuesday were Community Projects Manager David Brooks and two other members of the club's Community Department.
In Norway with Brooks were Education Project Manager Sacha Frost and the club's Study Support Centre Co-ordinator Matt Brackenbury.
They met with representatives from Odd and invited the club and Klosterskogen VGS, the local school who first set up contact between the two clubs, over to England.
Brooks said after the meeting: "The first possibility lies, for example, in exchanging coaches and arranging a training camp for our younger players."
The Norwegians clearly hope that any arrangement agreed upon will go much further with plans for the exchange of first team players in their sights should the relationship progress smoothly.
