Town Handbooks and Programmes Up for Auction - Ipswich Town News
A batch of early Ipswich Town handbooks from the 1930s and a selection of much sought-after 1940s Blues match programmes will go under the auctioneer’s hammer at Lockdales of Martlesham at a two-day sale which takes place on January 23rd and 24th.
Auction manager James Sadler said: "Besides Town, we have a wealth of programmes from other clubs, and other sports.
"This will be our best sports auction for many years, and besides a wealth of football memorabilia there is plenty of cricket stuff, athletics, boxing and Olympics items too.
"Football-wise you’ve got every team you can think of, including a set of 1940s Warminster programmes.”
