Fraser Back and in the Squad - Ipswich Town News

Town have confirmed that Ryan Fraser returned to the club this morning having undergone the rehab from his knee ligament injury with his parent club AFC Bournemouth and has gone straight into the squad for tomorrow’s live Sky game away against the MK Dons (KO 12.30pm).

Fraser has been out of action since suffering the knee injury while training with Scotland’s U21s in early October.

The Aberdonian, who is on loan with the Blues for the season, has made eight starts and three sub appearances for Town, scoring four goals.

Speaking yesterday, manager Mick McCarthy wasn't sure of Fraser's fitness but expected him to be close to being able to return to match action.

"It’s really difficult [to say precisely when he’ll be back in a matchday squad] when I haven’t seen him but if he’s doing all his football movements, they’ve let him go, they’re saying he’s fully fit to come back to us to train - to be involved, not to come back to continue his rehab - that he’s training fully, that tells you that really he’s not far off.”
