No Truth in Taricco Talk - Ipswich Town News

George Burley has said that press speculation that Mauricio Taricco may be on his way back to Portman Road is currently merely that. The Argentinian has been sent off in both his last two starts for Spurs and will be having talks about his future with Glenn Hoddle.

George Burley says he now has no plans to bring in anyone before deadline day, despite earlier saying he may be tempted to add to his squad before March 28th.

What happens in the summer may be a different story on the Taricco front, but Burley is just looking at the current season at present: "We are just concentrating on what happens from now until the end of the season and what happens in the summer will take care of itself."

Mauricio has said on many occasions that he and his wife may be keen to move back to Ipswich at some point, although he told TWTD earlier in the season that he felt his new extended contract at White Hart Lane might prevent that ever happening.
