Connor Shortlisted for Coaching Award - Ipswich Town News
Town assistant manager Terry Connor has been shortlisted for the Coach of the Year gong at the British Ethnic Diversity Sports Awards, which take place on Saturday, 6th February at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London and will be shown live on Sky TV.
Connor, known universally as TC, is up against fellow nominees Baldip Sahota, who coaches wheelchair fencing’s world numbers one and two, and Sivakumar Ramasamy, the Great Britain Taekwondo coach.
The 53-year-old joined the Blues shortly after Mick McCarthy took over as manager in November 2012 having previously worked with the Town boss at Wolves.
