Town boss Mick McCarthy says young defenders Josh Yorwerth and Matt Clarke can remain on loan with League Two sides Crawley and Portsmouth for the rest of the season.
Yorwerth, 20, has spent the last three months with the Red Devils, making 14 appearances with his spell up earlier this week.
"He’s staying,” McCarthy confirmed. Crawley manager Mark Yates told their official site: "We're delighted to be able to keep Josh until the end of the season.
"He's enjoyed his time with us, he is gaining valuable experience with every game and it's an arrangement that suits all parties.
"I would like to thank Mick McCarthy and Ipswich for agreeing to let us keep Josh."

Regarding Clarke, 19, who has been with Portsmouth since August and whose spell is up on January 3rd, he added: "Clarkey he’s staying [for the season].”
The academy product is not eligible to face the Blues in next week's FA Cup tie at Portman Road.
Also on loan at the moment is Josh Emmanuel and the Town boss says a decision is yet to be made on the 18-year-old, who has made one appearance since moving Broadfield Stadium a month ago.
"His loan is up on Saturday and he may play on Saturday and if he does they might want to judge whether they want to keep him,” McCarthy continued.
"If they do, I’ll speak to them, I’ve been speaking to Mark Yates. That’s one to be determined.
The Town boss confirmed that striker James Alabi is back from his spell with Vanarama National side Grimsby Town.
McCarthy says that Cameron Stewart and Michael Crowe can remain on loan with Doncaster and Stevenage if their loan clubs want to keep them once their current spells up.
"Cameron Stewart and Michael Crowe aren’t up yet so we’ll take a view if they want to keep them. If they want to keep them, then they’re welcome to stay.”
Meanwhile, McCarthy says he has no immediate plans to add to his squad during the January transfer window.
"We have been unfortunate with injuries,” he told the club site. "We have lost Didz for a while which is obviously very disappointing.
"He has done some serious damage to his hamstring and we are also still missing Bish with a hamstring as well. We have to be patient with him.
"Larsen Touré is out as well so if the right player becomes available in January, then I would certainly ask the question.
"I’m not actively looking though. I have a really good squad and I keep telling everyone, I would rather concentrate on that than look for replacements. Where am I going to find those replacements anyway?
"If a player came up though that I thought could bring something different to the squad, then I’ve got to look at it."
