Lose Weight With Live Well Suffolk at Portman Road - Ipswich Town News

Ipswich Town will again be hosting Live Well Suffolk’s free Lose Weight courses for men, starting on the evening of Monday 11th January.

The exercise sessions - 30 minutes of circuit training every week - will take place on the Fieldturf behind the East of England Co-op Stand - followed by six-week access to The Gym, Ipswich - while nutritional lessons will overlook the main pitch from the executive boxes.

Back in July, 13 keen recruits decided to embark on a 12-week weight management group with Live Well Suffolk and Town.

During this time they were taught about food control, portions, alcohol and sugars hidden in drinks and food, in addition to 12 weeks of challenging circuits.

At the end of the course, eight out of the 13 achieved a three per cent to five per cent weight loss (set by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence — NICE Guidance) and the group lost 105lbs between them.

Places are limited and are going quickly, so sign up or learn more about the course by calling James Colchester on 01473 229294 or visit Live Well Suffolk’s website.
