Crowe Set for Braintree Loan - Ipswich Town News
Blues keeper Michael Crowe is set to join Vanarama National League side Braintree Town on a month's loan having come to the end of his stint with League Two Stevenage without playing a game.
The 20-year-old’s month at Broadhall Way is up today and the Wales U21 call-up was unable to break into the first team.
London-born, Norway-raised Crowe previously spent time on loan at Woking last season and has been on the Town first-team bench on a number of occasions but without making his Blues debut. He is contracted until the end of the season.
Crowe was again an unused sub as Boro lost 2-1 at Mansfield Town yesterday.
Elsewhere, Josh Yorwerth missed Crawley's 1-0 home victory over Cambridge United having suffered a hamstring injury in last week's defeat to Portsmouth.
