U21s Face Charlton - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U21s are in action against Charlton at Playford Road this afternoon (KO 1pm).
Few if any senior players are likely to be involved with the first team in action against Leeds at Portman Road on Tuesday and Preston, again at home, on Saturday.
In November, Adam McDonnell (pictured) netted a fourth minute penalty as the Town youngsters drew 1-1 away against the Addicks in the U21 Professional Development League Two South, while in September Charlton beat the Blues 3-0 at Portman Road in an U21 Premier League Cup second qualifying round tie.
