McCarthy Reverts to Regular XI at Birmingham - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Mick McCarthy has, as expected, reverted to the team which drew 1-1 with Preston last week for today’s game at Birmingham City, having changed his entire XI for the FA Cup replay at Portsmouth in midweek.
Kevin Foley’s international clearance has come through and the full-back takes a place on the Town bench for the first time, while loanee Paul Digby is included in a Championship matchday 18 for the first time.
The Blues will again be in their orange third kit with both the home and away strips clashing with Birmingham's colours.
The home side make one enforced changed from last week’s 3-0 win at Derby with Jacques Maghoma unwell. On-loan Sunderland winger Will Buckley comes into the side for his full debut.
