Reuser Fighting for Place - Ipswich Town News

Martin Reuser, in thew squad for tomorrow's reserve game against Coventry (training ground, 2pm), says he's going to fight for a place in Town's run-in line-up. The Dutchman has been in and out of the side for most of the season.

Reuser says: "I'm fighting for my place in the team. There are a few games left and I want to get back in the side and do my bit.

"I know I can be a valuable player for Ipswich when I'm playing well. But I can't show what I can do when I'm not even on the bench.

"So it is up to me to play well for the reserves and get back into the team, even if it is on the bench to start with, then back starting."

It was the latter part of last season where Reuser came good. The midfielder scored two fine goals in the victory over Bradford and was involved for the rest of the campaign.
