U18s at Charlton - Ipswich Town News

Town’s U18s are in action away against Charlton on Saturday morning (KO 11am).

The Addicks’ youngsters currently top the Professional Development League Two South with the Blues in seventh.

The young Blues, who will be without Andre Dozzell, Nick Hayes and Ben Morris as they are away with England’s U17s, missed out on a game last weekend as their home match against Cardiff was postponed.

Meanwhile, second-year scholar Nick Ingram (pictured) recently joined Bury Town on a youth loan for the rest of the season.

The striker scored his first goal in Tuesday’s 4-1 win at home to Redbridge having come off the bench, his second game for the Ryman League Division One North side.

On his debut a week previously he started and created the winning goal in a 1-0 win at Witham. Bury are at home to Phoenix Sports on Saturday afternoon (KO 3pm).

Town’s U21s, who ended a nine-game losing streak by beating QPR last Monday, face Brentford at Griffin Park on Monday afternoon (KO 1pm).
