Nilis Guest of Town - Ipswich Town News
Luc Nilis, whose career ended after breaking his leg in the Town-Villa fixture at Portman Road last season, will be a guest of Town at Saturday's game.
The Belgian international, who is to have a pre-season tournament in his honour in the summer, has been invited along with his wife to watch Saturday's match as a guest of honour and will dine with David Sheephanks the night before.
Nilis bumped into David Sheepshanks in Dubai and later rang him after tickets. Sheepshanks was happy to oblige, but on one condition: "I've told Luc that he can only come if he supports the team in blue and white. He has agreed."
