Stewart Linked to Town - Ipswich Town News
Town are again being linked with Manchester United's Scottish U21 international Michael Stewart. George Burley was first reported to have watched Stewart along with then team-mate Mark Wilson in reserves action back in January 2001.
Stewart is a midfielder and has appeared three times for United this season, most recently in last night's Champions' League game with Boavista.
The 21-year-old has previously spent time with Royal Antwerp in Belgium and has just a year left on his contract. United, though seem keen to keep him and are reported to have offered him a five-year deal.
However, like many before him he may find he needs to move away from Old Trafford in order to establish himself in first team football.
