Fraser Out for Six to Eight Weeks - Ipswich Town News

Winger Ryan Fraser is facing six to eight weeks out with the hamstring injury he suffered in the closing stages of Saturday’s 1-0 loss at QPR.

Town have yet to confirm the length of Fraser’s expected absence, however, the Bournemouth Echo is reporting that the Scotland U21 international, who is on loan with the Blues from AFC Bournemouth for the season, will be sidelined for six to eight weeks having undergone a scan earlier in the week.

The Scotland U21 international is likely to return to the Cherries for his rehab, as he did earlier in the season when he suffered a knee injury.

Fraser's absence until late March or early April is a significant blow to the Blues with the ex-Aberdeen wideman having enjoyed a hugely impressive season and the favourite for the club's Player of the Year gong.

As revealed yesterday, Town are set to land Fulham's Ben Pringle on loan as cover while the 21-year-old is unavailable.
