Crowe Rejoins Braintree - Ipswich Town News

Town keeper Michael Crowe has rejoined Vanarama National League side Braintree Town on loan for a second month.

The 20-year-old played four games in his first month with the Iron, conceding just the one goal and has kept three clean sheets in his last three games.

Crowe’s return to Cressing Road had been in doubt after he suffered a minor knee injury but the move for a further 28 days has now been confirmed. The Blues can recall the Wales U21 squad member at 24 hours’ notice.

Meanwhile, former Blues striker Marcus Bent was handed a 12-month jail term suspended for two years, ordered to pay a total of £2,600 in compensation, court fees and victims' surcharge, given 200 hours of community service and a two-month night-time curfew at Guildford Crown Court earlier this afternoon, having previously pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and affray.
