Keeper Bartosz Bialkowski has signed a new contract with the Blues running to the summer of 2018 with an option for a further season. The 28-year-old, who joined Town from Notts County in the summer of 2014, revealed that he was close to putting pen to paper on new terms last week.
"Obviously I’m very happy to have signed a new contract,” the Pole told the club website.
"My contract was up in the summer [although Town had an option for another year] and I had a few calls about what I was going to do but I was only interested in staying at Ipswich and I’m looking forward to the future here.
"I have been pleased with my performances since I returned to the team. I have felt very confident and made some good saves but then that is my job really!”
Bialkowski, who previously had a stint on loan with the Blues on loan in 2009 when a Southampton player without making a senior appearance, is understood to have received interest from clubs in China.

The Braniewo-born keeper has been back in the Town side for the last three Championship games, following Dean Gerken's shoulder injury at Birmingham, and looks certain to keep his place having been in outstanding form in the QPR and Bristol City games in particular.
