Gerken Over Shoulder Injury - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Mick McCarthy has confirmed that keeper Dean Gerken is over his shoulder injury and is available for Tuesday’s home match against Hull City.
"He has made great progress and is available for tomorrow’s game,” McCarthy told the club site.
Gerken has been sidelined for the last three games after sustaining the knock in the closing minutes at Birmingham when he collided with home sub James Vaughan.
It would be a huge surprise if the 30-year-old were to return to the starting line-up, however, with Bartosz Bialkowski having been in outstanding form in the ex-Colchester and Bristol City man’s absence.
