Supporters Weekend Events Confirmed - Ipswich Town News

This year's annual Supporters Weekend takes place around the Nottingham Forest game on Saturday 5th March.

The weekend, arranged by the Supporters Club, starts with a five-a-side football tournament at Goals at 8pm on the Friday evening, where the Italian Branch are intent on taking home the trophy this time around.

If you’re interested in playing, either as an individual or if you want to enter a team, contact Liz Edwards via officialitsc@btinternet.com or by phone on 07968 876504. Spectators are welcome to come along on the night.

On Saturday lunchtime, Life's a Pitch will be broadcasting live from midday until 2pm at The Dove Street Inn where some special Town guests will be taking part in a question and answer session with fans from around 1pm - last year it was difficult to stop Terry Butcher and Kevin Beattie from swapping stories. There will be no entrance charge.

Following the game against Forest, there will be a bar extension until 6.30pm in Legends, where local band Talk of the Town will be playing live from around 5.30pm. Again, entrance is free of charge and open to all fans.
