No Needham Move for Hammond - Ipswich Town News
Young Blues right-back or midfielder Kyle Hammond will not now be joining Needham Market on loan.
As reported earlier in the week, the Ryman League Premier Division side were keen on signing Hammond on loan but it’s understood that clubs from higher divisions are now showing interest in the 20-year-old.
Hammond was on the bench for Town during the FA Cup replay at Portsmouth recently but is still to make his senior debut and hasn’t been in a Championship matchday 18 this season.
The ex-Westbourne High School pupil is out of contract at the end of the campaign having been handed a one-year deal last summer after spending much of the previous two seasons out with knee injuries.
