Murphy and Douglas Miss Out - Ipswich Town News
Town make two changes for this afternoon’s home game against Nottingham Forest with Daryl Murphy and Jonathan Douglas missing out due to injury and Luke Hyam and Kevin Bru taking their places in the starting line-up, while Andre Dozzell is on the bench for the first time.
McCarthy could line his side up in a variety of ways, but it seems likely Bru will be on the right of a four-man midfield with Hyam in the middle with Foley. Ben Pringle will be on the left and Brett Pitman and Freddie Sears up front.
Dozzell, aged 16 years and 308 days, travelled with the first team squad to Huddersfield last week but hasn’t been in the matchday 18 before.
Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Smith, Berra, Knudsen, Foley, Hyam, Bru, Pringle, Pitman, Sears. Subs: Gerken, Digby, Tabb, Dozzell, Maitland-Niles, Touré, Varney.
Forest: De Vries, Lichaj, Mancienne, Mills (c), Jokic, Mendes, Gardner, Vaughan, Osborn, Oliveira, Blackstock. Subs: Evtimov, Wilson, Cohen, O'Grady, Tesche, Grant, Petravicius. Andy Woolmer (Northamptonshire).
