Pringle Loan to Be Extended But Not to Final Date - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Mick McCarthy has confirmed that Ben Pringle’s loan with the Blues will be extended from its initial month, which is up this week, through to the end of the season and the play-off semi-finals, but not the final if the Blues reach Wembley.
"It was always taken that we’re taking him to the end of the season but that we can have a break in an emergency loan,” the Town boss said.
We understand that the break would stretch Pringle's 93-day short-term loan to allow him to play for the Blues in the play-off semi-finals if they make them but not the final on Saturday 28th May.
Pringle, 26, has been a big success since joining the Blues from Fulham, scoring the winning goal in the last two games and having made four appearances in total.
