Trialist Morphew Back in Action - Ipswich Town News
Blues trialist Keiran Morphew was back in action as his Needham Market side beat Merstham 1-0 in the Ryman League Premier Division this afternoon and is now set to spend his week training with the Blues’ first team.
The 22-year-old put in a man of the match performance and came through the game unscathed.
The defender or midfielder was due to join up with Town for a week last month but a couple of days before he was set to link-up with the Blues suffered a groin injury which forced its postponement.
Morphew, who greatly impressed Town boss Mick McCarthy with his performance in the recent 1-0 U21s victory over QPR, was given use the Blues’ facilities during his rehab.
