Cardiff City sub Jamie Veale’s injury time goal condemned Town’s U21s to a 1-0 defeat at the Leckwith Stadium this afternoon.
The Blues included a trialist, understood to be 19-year-old Brentford defender Seth Owens, who has featured for the Bees’ U18s and development squad as well as spending time on loan in non-league at Hayes and Yeading earlier in the season.
U21s: Crowe, Malarczyk, C Smith, Owens, Emmanuel, Dozzell, McDonnell, Blanchfield (Benyu 65), Kenlock (Hammond 30), McLoughlin, Morris. Unused: Marsden, McKendry.
