Maitland-Niles in England U19s Squad - Ipswich Town News
Blues loanee Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been named in the England U19s squad for their European Championship elite round qualifiers in Spain later in the month.
The England youngsters, who are coached by Aidy Boothroyd, who was was at Town’s recent game at Bristol City, face Georgia on Thursday 24th March, Greece two days later, then finally the hosts on the following Tuesday. Only the winners of the group will progress to the finals in Germany in July.
Maitland-Niles, who is on loan with the Blues for the season from Arsenal, has previously won five caps at U19 level, scoring two goals, having previously played for the England U17s and U18s.
