Morphew Back With Town Tomorrow - Ipswich Town News
Needham Market defender or midfielder Keiran Morphew will join up with the Blues again tomorrow and will play for Town’s U21s against Nottingham Forest on Monday.
As reported on Saturday, the 22-year-old returned to action with the Ryman League Premier Division side at the weekend having been forced to postpone his trial with the Blues last month when he picked up a groin injury.
He is now to train with the Town first-teamers who weren't involved against Blackburn tomorrow before featuring in Monday’s U21s game at Portman Road (KO 7pm) when David McGoldrick is also expected to play.
Morphew, who greatly impressed Town boss Mick McCarthy with his performance in the recent 1-0 U21s victory over QPR, was given use the Blues’ medical facilities while he recovered from his injury.
