Johnson, Mowbray, Harper, Woods, Milton and Hegan Inducted into Hall of Fame - Ipswich Town News
David Johnson, Tony Mowbray, Colin Harper, Charlie Woods, Simon Milton and Danny Hegan were all inducted into the Town Hall of Fame at this evening’s Ex-Players’ Dinner in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite.
Seventies striker Johnson, Mowbray and Harper were all handed Hall of Fame Awards, while Milton and Woods, who was celebrating his 75th birthday, received Merit Awards. Hegan, who died in August last year, was given a Posthumous Award.
Also picking up gongs were Arnold Muhren and Frans Thijssen, who were inducted in 2009 and 2008 respectively but hadn’t attended previous dinners.
Earlier in the day, Terry Butcher won the Ex-Players’ Golf Day with Johnson second and Mick Lambert third.
