Murphy a Doubt for Slovakia Friendly - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Daryl Murphy is considered a doubt for the Republic of Ireland’s friendly with Slovakia on Tuesday having been replaced with a calf problem late on during last night’s 1-0 victory over Switzerland.
The 33-year-old, who was winning his 20th cap, came on as a sub in the 27th minute after Kevin Doyle suffered an ankle injury and made way himself with a tight calf 11 minutes from time.
Murphy missed Town’s recent games against Nottingham Forest and Bolton due to a calf problem.
