Feeney Handed Full Debut - Ipswich Town News

Town boss Mick McCarthy has made two changes to his team for today’s game at Wolves with Liam Feeney handed his first start and Ben Pringle returning to the line-up for Luke Hyam, who drops to the bench, and Daryl Murphy, who suffered a calf injury while away with the Republic of Ireland. David McGoldrick returns to the bench for the first time since early December.

Feeney, a half-time sub in the Rotherham game, seems likely to start in a front three on either the left or right of Brett Pitman with Freddie Sears on the other flank.

Pringle looks set to be on the left of a midfield three with Cole Skuse and Jonathan Douglas.

While McGoldrick returns to the 18, Teddy Bishop, yet to play a senior game this season, made the trip but isn’t included in the matchday squad.

Wolves: Ikeme, Iorfa, Batth (c), Hause, Doherty, Coady, Price, Saville, Sigurdarson, Zyro, Helan. Subs: Martinez, Deslandes, McDonald, Henry, Hunte, Mason, Le Fondre.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Smith, Berra, Knudsen, Skuse, Douglas, Pringle, Feeney, Sears, Pitman. Subs: Gerken, Foley, Digby, Bru, Hyam, McGoldrick, Varney. Referee: Rob Lewis (Shrewsbury).
