West Ham Striker on Trial - Ipswich Town News
West Ham striker Jordan Brown was the trialist in action for the Blues’ U21s in the 2-1 win at Barnsley yesterday, TWTD understands.
Brown, 19, is out of contract at the end of the season and has been told he will not be offered new terms, having joined the Hammers academy from Arsenal’s youth set-up in 2013.
The 6ft 1in tall Londoner, who has won England caps at U16 and U17 levels, made his only appearance for West Ham’s senior side as an 80th minute sub in their Europa League defeat to Romanian side Astra Giurgiu in August.
Brown spent a month on loan at Vanarama National League South Chelmsford City in the autumn, where he made four appearances without scoring, and reportedly spent time on trial in Germany earlier this year.
