Bialkowski Wins Player of the Year - Ipswich Town News

Keeper Bartosz Bialkowski was named the Town Supporters Club Player of the Year at tonight’s Player Awards Evening in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite, beating Freddie Sears into second and Tommy Smith into third.

Accepting the award, Bialkowski said: "It feels amazing really, especially as I’ve gone through a lot this season and I’ve finished the season strong. It’s something special and I’d like to thank everyone.

"All the hard work pays off and massive credit to [goalkeeper-coach] Malcolm Webster, he’s been amazing, Gerks has been amazing as well this season before he got injured. Thank you.”

Bialkowski also picked up the Junior Blues Player of the Year, while Andre Dozzell was named the Dale Roberts Academy Player of the Year. The Platinum* Supporters Award went to Cole Skuse.
