Hospital Cup Date Set - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U16s will face their Norwich City counterparts in this year’s Hospital Cup at Carrow Road on Tuesday 17th May (KO 7.45pm).
The Hospital Cup, a pre-season staple at first-team level for many years until 1990, was revived as an annual U16s match played between the Blues and Canaries last year when the Norfolk side ran out 3-0 winners at Portman Road.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the East Anglian Children’s Hospice (EACH) with prices £3 for adults and £1 for under-17s, while fans are invited to make a further donation to EACH if they wish to do so.
The game will be played over two halves of 40 minutes followed by extra-time and penalties if required.
Tickets can be purchased in advance from Norwich City’s ticket office by telephone on 0844 826 1902.
