Five Changes for Blues Against MK Dons - Ipswich Town News
Town make five changes ahead of this afternoon’s final home game of the season against the MK Dons with Teddy Bishop, Josh Emmanuel, Myles Kenlock, Dean Gerken and Christophe Berra all starting.
Luke Chambers (ankle) and Jonas Knudsen (knee) both miss out, while Bartosz Bialkowski, Paul Digby and Luke Hyam all drop to the bench.
Kenlock will be making his league debut and Bishop his first senior start of the season, while Berra is over the knee injury which forced him out of the Middlesbrough game last week. Midfielder Adam McDonnell, 18, is on the bench and could make his league debut at some stage.
The MK Dons include ex-Blue Dean Bowditch but there is no place in the 18 for on-loan QPR man Jay Emmanuel-Thomas or former Town keeper Cody Cropper, while Jonny Williams’s loan spell has ended.
Town: Gerken, Emmanuel, Smith, Berra, Kenlock, Skuse (c), Bru, Bishop, Feeney, Sears, McGoldrick. Subs: Bialkowski, Digby, Foley, McDonnell, Hyam, Varney, Pitman.
MK Dons: Burns, Baldock, Long, Walsh, Lewington (c), Potter, Carruthers, Powell, Bowditch, Murphy, Revell. Subs: Spence, McFadzean, Jackson, Kasumu, Baker, Furlong, Maynard. Referee: Keith Stroud (Hampshire).
