Town in Talks With Feeney - Ipswich Town News

Town boss Mick McCarthy says the Blues are in talks with loanee Liam Feeney about joining Town on a permanent basis in the summer. The 29-year-old is out of contract with parent club Bolton this summer.

"We’re talking to him and we’re talking to his agent,” McCarthy confirmed. "I’d like him to stay and he would like to stay and if we can come to a mutually beneficial deal then that’s what will happen. If we don’t, then we won’t.”

Thanks to the fans for their support throughout my loan, top club and a top top manager. ITFC it has been a pleasure ✌🏻

The Town boss says it’s less likely that Ben Pringle, who is on loan from Fulham, will join the Blues in the summer: "It’s different with Ben Pringle, he’s got a year to run on his contract, probably not.”
