Worthing's Webber Added to Scholars - Ipswich Town News
Town have added defender Pat Webber to this summer’s intake of academy scholars following a trial.
Webber, who turns 17 this month, has been with Ryman League Division One South club Worthing’s youth set-up this season and will join the Blues as a second year but having agreed a two-year scholarship.
The left-back or centre-half is the son of Damien Webber, who played for Mick McCarthy's Millwall in the early nineties.
Town recently announced the names of 10 other youngsters, who will start their two-year scholarships next season.
