Injury Forces Knudsen Out of Denmark Squad - Ipswich Town News
Town left-back Jonas Knudsen has been left out of the Denmark squad for the Kirin Cup friendly tournament in Japan due to the knee injury which saw the 23-year-old miss the Blues’ final two games of the season.
Knudsen, 23 was named in new Danish manager Ã…ge Hareide’s previous squad but didn’t add to the two senior caps he won before joining the Blues.
Hareide confirmed that Knudsen's injury had forced him out of the Kirin Cup squad at a press conference following its announcement this afternoon.
The hosts, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bulgaria are also involved in the competition which takes place in early June.
