Town to Travel to Charlton in Pre-Season - Ipswich Town News
Town will play Charlton Athletic in a pre-season friendly at The Valley on Tuesday 26th July (KO 7.45pm).
The Addicks were recently relegated to League One having finished 22nd in the Championship.
In November, Daryl Murphy netted twice and Freddie Sears once as the Blues won 3-0 at The Valley, their fourth successive win on Charlton turf. At Portman Road in April the game ended 0-0.
Yesterday, Shelbourne announced that the Blues would be visiting them on Saturday 10th July for what’s become an annual game against the Dublin side.
