Berra Out of Scotland Squad for France Friendly - Ipswich Town News
Town centre-half Christophe Berra will not be part of the Scotland squad facing his father’s home country France in a friendly in Metz on Saturday.
The 31-year-old, who won his 33rd cap in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Italy in Malta, has been released from the squad and will instead attend a friend’s wedding.
Gordon Strachan’s squad has been boosted in numbers by the arrival of Hull City trio Andrew Robertson, Robert Snodgrass and Shaun Maloney, who missed the Italy game as they were helping the Tigers back into the Premier League via the play-offs.
