Town striker Daryl Murphy was an unused sub as the Republic of Ireland drew 1-1 with Sweden in their opening game at Euro 2016.
Wes Hoolahan put Ireland in front on 48 with the Swedes equalising via a Ciaran Clark own goal in the 71st minute.
Belgium face Italy in this evening’s other Group E game at 8pm. Ireland face the Belgians on Saturday and then the Italians a week on Wednesday.
