Released Keeper Joins Hemel Hempstead - Ipswich Town News
Released Blues keeper Jon Henly has joined Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.
As revealed by TWTD in May, the 22-year-old was told he wouldn’t be offered new terms by Town at the end of last season.
Scotland U21 international Henly joined the Blues after a trial last August, signing a one-year deal with an option for a further season, having been released by Reading at the end of the previous campaign.
The Woking-born glovesman was on the bench for the first team games against Reading, QPR and Bristol City in February but without making a senior appearance for Town.
The Tudors say Henly turned down offers from other clubs in their division and also in the Vanarama National League.
