Reserve Game Moves - Ipswich Town News

Town's reserve game with Southampton, scheduled for Wednesday 24th April, will now be played a day earlier at the Playford Road Training Centre with a 2pm kick-off. Tonight the Town second string meet Leicester at Portman Road (KO 7pm).

Darren Bent will be looking to take his overall tally of goals for the season to 30. So far Bent has scored 18 goals in the reserves, three in the FA Youth Cup, two for the England U19s, four for the Town Academy U19s and his first senior goal, in the Worthington Cup game at Newcastle. That makes a total of 28.

The Blues squad as named yesterday may be subject to change with one or two more experienced players possibly included. Martijn Reuser and Jim Magilton are amongst those we have heard that may be in the side this evening.
