Young Striker Brown Joins Chelsea - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands that academy striker Charlie Brown has left the Blues to join Chelsea's youth set-up.
The 16-year-old former Felixstowe Academy pupil was due to start his two-year scholarship this summer, having been at Playford Road since the U10s.
We understand the clubs are yet to agree compensation, while Arsenal also showed interest.
Brown broke into the Town U21s side last season and scored his first goal at that level in the 4-2 victory over Crewe Alexandra in March.
