Town’s U18s drew 1-1 with Cambridge United in a pre-season friendly at Playford Road this evening.
Midfielder Ross Meldrum, a second-year scholar, netted a late equaliser for the Blues in a game played over three thirds of 30 minutes. Spanish trialist Diego Centeno played the first 44 minutes.
Meanwhile, released midfielder Victor Guldbrandsen is on trial with HB Køge, who play in the second tier back in his native Denmark.
Danish U18 international Guldbrandsen, 19, left the Blues at the end of last season after two years at the club.
