Newcastle and Fulham Linked With Murphy - Ipswich Town News
Newcastle United and Fulham are reportedly keen on Blues striker Daryl Murphy following his impressive showing for the Republic of Ireland at Euro 2016.
According to The Irish Sun the Magpies and the Cottagers are both looking for a goalscorer ahead of the new season, Murphy having netted 10 goals for the Blues last season, 27 the previous year - more than anyone else in the Championship - and 13 a season prior to that.
Murphy signed a new two-year contract with an option for a further season with Town last summer after interest from a number of clubs, including Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough and Cardiff, when he insisted he had no interest in leaving the Blues.
